Our mission is to bring forth a praise in the city while uniting our community through faith, fellowship, and service. As part of that mission, we are excited to provide local businesses, entrepreneurs, ministries, and community organizations with an opportunity to showcase their products, services, and resources -- completely FREE of charge.
To make participation as simple and stress-free as possible, each approved vendor will be provided with one (1) 6-foot table and two (2) folding chairs. We invite you to join us as we celebrate five years of Praise in the City while building meaningful connections with hundreds of attendees from across the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
VENDOR FAQ's
Q. How much are vendor spaces?
A. Vendor spaces are FREE. We believe that uniting our community with local businesses shouldn't have a fee attached to it. We are honored to host our vendors and only ask for a monetary donation as you are led and one giveaway for our raffle.
Q. What do I need to bring for my vendor space?
A. We will provide one (1) 6' table, two (2) folding chairs and a table tent card with your business/organization name. Vendors are encouraged to bring a tent that is no larger than 8' x 10'. Vendors may also wish to bring an additional table that fits in an 8' x 10' space, signage, stands, etc.
Q. How much foot traffic does PITC attract?
A. PITC attracts approximately 300 - 500 people.
Q. What is Praise in the City?
A. PITC is an opportunity for churches to unite with the local community through live praise & worship, community-based resources, giveaways and vendors, all with the mission of creating a praise in city! From delicious eats to fun activities, this event is catered towards our community, including families.
Q. Are there any restrictions on what I can sell or on services I can market?
A. Yes -- the sale or marketing of weapons, alcohol, controlled substances or illegal substances is strictly prohibited. Please also note that cosmetics and food options that include controlled substances or related ingredients are strictly prohibited.
Q. Is there a limit to the types of vendors participating?
A. Yes -- to provide our vendors with the greatest opportunity to unite with the local community, we will not approve more than two (2) of the same type of vendor. For example, we will not approve more than two vendors who sell beauty-related products.
